Yesterday I ate really bad.
I didn’t start off the day with that intention, but when lunch rolled around Wendy’s just sounded so darn good that I went and got it. And when you cave once, it’s easier to cave again… so when I got home for dinner, all I could think about was enjoying a plate of my favorite carbs- pasta. The only healthy thing I had was a protein shake that my cousin stopped by and made me, because she’s the best. <3
As for working out, well it was a busy night and there were a houseful of people, and well I really wanted to watch the Hallmark movie I recorded sooo, it didn’t happen.
Ever happen to you? I need to know I am not alone! 😉
Now, I know maybe your days don’t look exactly like mine. But I know you’re busy and I get it- TRUST ME, I get it. That’s why I wanted to let you know that days that look like mine are absolutely OKAY! Life happens, and we shouldn’t beat ourselves up about it.
But I also wanted to share my absolute FAVORITE workout routine with you that I do when I’m crazy busy!
I know I mentioned Tone It Up before, and if you haven’t checked them out yet, I highly recommend it! Not only are a lot of their workouts FREE, but they actually work!
This workout is a 7 minute HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training). It works pretty much every single part of you in seven minutes. It sounds intense, but everything sounds intense when you just start working out again after the holiday season, right?! 😉
When this is all the time I have, I’ll do this routine once through. If I have a few extra minutes, I do it twice through! I’ve done it so many times, I have all the moves memorized- and a little secret? They created this one to be done in between work + a party- so you don’t really work up enough sweat to need a shower but Thank You, God for Dry Shampoo!!! 😉
